It is difficult to describe a soft breeze brushing across your face on a spring day or an almost familiar form a cloud takes as it moves slowly through the sky, because these phenomena are only momentary flashes in our memories. Artist Chris Hayman explores what she likes to call “Feel Scapes,” describing a feeling on a 2-Dimensional surface. In Hayman’s “Aurora” organic brush strokes and vibrant colors create the perception of light dancing across the sky. The artist works with a palette knife to give wonderful texture and movement to these sensations.
