Audra Weaser’s “Blue North” appears charged with motion, an emergence of light blues and subtle golds across a white expanse. Her subject is left to the imagination — a play of light, an interpretation of water, a mystical forest perhaps. The composition of “Blue North” is organic, intuitive and rhythmic. Abstracted and somewhat magical, Weaser’s newest creation is built with a depth of pigments followed by a sanding process which navigates the build-up of her piece back into its surface.
