From March 14 – 20, 2019, Merritt Gallery Chevy Chase is hosting Haiti Art: Vision and Hope. The exhibition contains over 100 works of art by Haiti’s most talented artists that celebrate the deeply rooted affirmations of hope and faith. All artwork on display is available for purchase, and a percentage of each sale goes to support the important educational programs of St. Patrick’s Episcopal Day School (St. Etienne, Buteau, Haiti) and St. Andrew’s Episcopal School (Christ Roi, Kap Son, Haiti).
The opening reception was a big success—thank you to all who attended and organized the event. So far, $12,000 has been raised.
Attendees enjoyed excellent music from the Chamber Singers of St. Patrick’s and the Jazz Band from St. Andrew’s, along with delicious hors d’oeuvres from Medium Rare. Enjoy these photos of the event!
