With his unmistakable blend of devotion and delight, Hunt Slonem has a way of turning his signature menagerie into pure magic on canvas. The American neo-expressionist painter—celebrated for his spirited bunnies, birds, and butterflies—infuses each canvas with rhythm, ritual, and radiant color.
This December, we’re thrilled to celebrate his joyful world with The Art of Delight, an exhibition opening in all three of our gallery locations. In these latest works, Slonem continues that conversation between exuberance and calm, creating art that feels both timeless and vibrantly alive.

In this radiant gold composition, Slonem brings together his favorite muses—birds, butterflies, and of course, rabbits—into one scene. The painting’s etched surface adds texture and rhythm, while the understated palette exudes warmth and serenity. It’s the perfect balance of playfulness and poise, a reflection of the grace that runs through all of Slonem’s work.

The rabbit has long been one of Slonem’s most beloved motifs, symbolizing renewal and joy. In Rabbit Run, he captures that energy in a fresh way—six softly sketched bunnies, rendered in tones of gray and black, race across a vibrant orange background. The loose, textured brushwork gives them a slightly furry, animated feel, as if they’ve just hopped into motion.
This piece feels spontaneous and full of character, perfectly capturing the charm that makes Slonem’s work so irresistible.

With White Peacock, Slonem channels his signature grandeur into a sweeping display of color and form. A regal peacock commands the canvas, surrounded by a rhythmic constellation of feathers rendered in blues, greens, and golds. The richly impastoed surface shimmers with life, evoking a sense of luxury and transcendence.
For collectors, it’s a showstopper. This is Slonem’s theatrical side on full display, transforming any space into a world of color, movement, and delight.

With Owls Trail, Slonem takes a more graphic turn. Two wide-eyed owls emerge from a glowing yellow background, outlined in inky black. It’s bold yet contemplative, with a balance of strength and softness that feels quietly uplifting.
Here, Slonem pares things down to the essentials—line, color, emotion—and the result is striking.
