What do you love the most about what you do?
JL: I love to see the joy on my client’s faces after completing a project. Creating a beautiful and comfortable environment for them gives me a feeling of such happiness.
How do you incorporate art into your design?
JL: Art is emotional; a lot of clients feel that it should coordinate with the colors in their decor. But I believe that if a piece of art evokes an emotional response, that is enough justification to use it in an interior design scheme.
What are your top art picks from our collection?
JL: “Reflejo II” by Sergio Martinez is the embodiment of elegance and grace. His paintings of women are sublime. Also, “Moonset” by Marshall Noice with his bold use of color and abstract form is absolutely thrilling.
