Following in the footsteps of his famous father, Gerald Coulson, Lawrence has enjoyed success of his work since becoming a professional artist in September 1997. Lawrence has developed his own style and paints in oil on panels, layering glaze upon glaze in the technique of the Old Masters. His paintings have been described as “traditional paintings in a contemporary matter.”
