As an artist myself, I see my role as Art Installer as someone who guides the art to its new home, and this role allows me to get to know the work really well. I also enjoy meeting clients and helping make their spaces more special.
These are some of my favorite pieces in the gallery now.
I am always interested in work that effects my perception and has an optical quality to it. I enjoy how this Bolles hums, and the way the black bars appear to hover over the blue. For such a minimal composition it has a lot of dynamics.

Cool Waters is incredibly interesting in the way that Weaser exposes layers of color through a subtractive process. It has an inverted photograph quality—almost like a broken scanner rendered an ethereal bayou landscape in a ghost palette.

I like that there is no one way to look at this piece; it doesn’t easily make an object. Also, I am obsessed with cassette tapes, so the glossy black tangles bring me back to that.
